This Host Agreement applies to all property owners, managers, or authorised representatives (“Hosts”) who list accommodation on Elite Stays SA.
By listing a property, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in addition to the platform’s Terms and Conditions.

1. Host Eligibility
By registering as a Host, you confirm that:
- You have legal authority to list the property
- The property complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- All information provided is accurate and truthful

2. Listing Standards
Hosts must ensure that:
- Listings accurately reflect the property
- Images are current and not misleading
- Pricing and availability are kept up to date
- House rules are clearly stated
Elite Stays SA reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove listings that do not meet platform standards.

3. Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Hosts are solely responsible for:
- Compliance with zoning, licensing, and tax laws
- Obtaining required permits or approvals
- Adhering to local municipal regulations
Elite Stays SA bears no responsibility for host non-compliance.

4. Bookings & Cancellations
- Hosts must honour all confirmed bookings
- Cancellation policies must be clearly defined
- Failure to honour bookings may result in penalties or account suspension

5. Property Standards & Safety
Hosts agree to:
- Provide safe, clean, and habitable accommodation
- Maintain essential utilities and amenities
- Ensure reasonable safety measures are in place
Hosts are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage.

6. Payments & Fees
- Elite Stays SA may charge service or commission fees, disclosed separately
- Hosts authorise Elite Stays SA to process payments on their behalf where applicable

7. Liability & Indemnity
Hosts agree to indemnify and hold Elite Stays SA harmless from:
- Claims arising from guest stays
- Property damage, injury, or loss
- Legal or regulatory penalties

8. Termination
Elite Stays SA reserves the right to suspend or terminate host accounts for:
- Breach of this Agreement
- Fraudulent or misleading conduct
- Repeated guest complaints

9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
